The Smart Film is not adhesive, to be laminated with EVA film/PVB film in laminating oven.

How To Calculate the Square Meter Quantity?
We use Standard Fixed Width to cut the right size as clients require.The quantity is based on how big of the standard size we need to cut the right size.

Example 1, if you need 110cm*80cm, we will use 120cm*80cm to cut the right size of 110cm*80cm and a waste of 10cm*80cm, so the amount will be calculated based on 120cm*80cm. And if you want, you can take all the smart films (the right size of 110cm*80cm and a waste of 10cm*80cm).

Example 2, if you only need 50cm*50cm, we will use 120cm*50cm to cut 2 pcs of 50cm*50cm and a waste of 20cm*50cm, and you will have to order 2 pcs of 50cm*50cm together at the same time, and the amount will be calculated based on 120cm*50cm. And if you want, you can take all the smart films( 2 pcs of 50cm*50cm and a waste of 20cm*50cm).

Example 3, if you need 170cm*130cm, we will use 180cm*130cm to cut the right size of 170cm*130cm and a waste of 10cm*130cm, so the amount will be calculated based on 180cm*130cm. And if you want, you can take all the smart films(the right size of 170cm*130cm and a waste of 10cm*130cm).

Electrical Transformer
Optional; Clients can offer the Electrical Transformer by themselves.

Notes:
*If you are not experienced, it’s better to let us assemble the electronic connector(busbar) for you.
*To protect the smart film, we suggest shipping by air or by express, like DHL, FEDEX, UPS, etc.
*The weight of smart film for shipping will be calculated by Dimensional Weight, because the package is light, but bigger in dimension.

EVA Thermal Cutter
to clean laminated glass edges overflowed remains of EVA, PVB, SGP etc.
Application:
When making laminated glass with EVA film(or PVB film, SGP film) there may be some overflowed EVA remains (or PVB remains, SGP remains) on the edges of laminated glass after heating in the oven, EVA Thermal Cutter is the handhold tool to clean the laminated glass edges remains easily.

How it work:
The blade of the EVA Thermal Cutter can be up to 500℃ in seconds. The EVA Thermal Cutter use the ultra high temperature heat to cut the EVA remains (or PVB remains, SGP remains) of the laminated glass edges.

The EVA Thermal Cutter cleans the overflowed remains NOT by strength or sharp, but by Ultra High Temperature Heat: 500℃. So whether the interlayer film is EVA FILM, PVB FILM, or SGP INTERLAYER, the result is the same.

Choose Right Glass Sealant for EVA Film Laminated Glass

1- Neutral Glass Sealant
There are three kinds of glass sealant. They are: Acid, Alkaline, and Neutral.
For laminated glass with EVA FILM(Ethylene Vinyl Acetate Copolymer), it’s better to use the Neutral Glass Sealant.

2-Test Before Massive Application
It’s highly recommended that you do a small quantity test before massive application to make sure the Glass Sealant is friendly to the EVA FILM. You can start test by sealing 3~5 pieces of small laminated glass samples with the Glass Sealant that you are going to use. Observing the laminated glass samples for 2 weeks, if there is no haze, bubbles, or delamination around the edges of the laminated glass samples, then you can start massive applications.

3-Recommendation of Glass Sealant
DOW CORNING 1199, 799, 982, 1200,7091.

4-Bad Example of Wrong Glass Sealant
One glass factory used the acid glass sealant to install the EVA laminated glass without testing the compatibility. About 3 days after the installation, the laminated glass edges appeared haze, bubbles, and delamination.
